It’s been too long since we’ve been able to play soccer so we found new fields to increase our opportunities to play.
Every team in our league will play at least 10 games of two different styles - 6v6 on small fields & the new 2v2 King’s League showdown.
First season is casual pub league format with teams of 8-10 players for only $500/team. All league proceeds go towards local youth soccer facilities, education, and equipment.
Last but not least, every paying player will be a co-owner of the league with us. We’re just getting the party started but this is everyone’s league.

Saturdays from 12-8pm (7-8 games per team)
Weekdays from 6-8pm (1 game per team)

40 minute 6v6 game (2x20 minute halves)
5 minute King’s League Showdown (after futsal game)

Standard soccer rules with these exceptions…
No slide tackling or aggressive behavior allowed
No referees - play fair and call your own fouls
Emphasis on playing a good game and getting to work the next day

Teams will be organized and led by their captain. Every participant will have the opportunity to designate their interest in captaining a team when they register. Captains can recruit other players directly to their team and/or receive free agents.

All public information such as league schedule, game locations, standings, etc will be available on our website.
Due to concerns from certain groups within our soccer community, Inter Asheville will NOT store names and contact information for every player.
All communication will go through the captains who will manage communication with their team.

Unclear at this time. We will look to concentrate games on Saturdays and expand to weekdays only if the number of teams requires it.

The King’s League is a unique take on soccer started in Spain and is quickly spreading to other countries. Check out the full description and website and watch some games soon. It’s amazing.
We are adding their 2v2 “rapid fire” round to the end of each one of our games. Yes, you’ll play a 6v6 game first then face the same team again in a completely different format!
There will be separate standings for the Futsal League & the King’s League. More games, more opportunities to win, more trophies.

Yes. The beautiful game belongs to everyone so this is our founding team’s public statement of intent that we want to create a community-owned soccer club.
We’ll figure out what this means and how to do it in time because we have to do it together as a team.

It’s taken a small team of people and partners to put this idea together, find field space, raise funds for equipment, etc.
The primary people focused on this are Nathan Phillips, a local business owner and soccer coach, and Pablo Delgado, father of two young soccer players and coach.

All funds from the adult leagues will go to direct expenses such as paying for field space, equipment, etc.
All remaining funds will go towards covering the costs of providing free youth leagues, teams, and educational opportunities.
